We are consistently here for you to provide guidance and practical tips in raising your kids in a life giving way. All Pro Dad is a program of Family First.

  • Art Club

    Open to 4th – 5th Grade Students 

    Sponsor: Kari Lemoine

    Student artists will come together before school to improve skills, compare art and artists, and participate in different group events. The members will explore various art techniques in a small group setting and use an assortment of mediums that they may or may not experience in regular art classes. Student artists in grades 4 and 5 that are interested in participating will complete an application process (due to limited spots available).

    Student artists will meet on Monday mornings from 7:15 – 8:00.

  • Chess Club

    Open to 1st – 5th Grade Students

    Sponsor: Tia MacKay

    The purpose of the Chess Club is to provide a forum in which all skill level Chess players from 2nd to 5th grade can exercise their talents and develop into Chess players of excellent caliber and character and to promote the study and knowledge of Chess; not only for fun and enjoyment, but also as a tool to become problem solvers.

    The Chess Club will meet in the cafeteria Wednesday mornings from 7:10 – 7:45.

  • Good News Club

    Open to 2nd – 5th Grade Students

    Good News Club is a weekly interdenominational Christian program for grade 2-5 children featuring a Bible lesson, songs, memory verses, and games.  Thursdays from 3-4:45.  Pick up is out front.

  • Guitar Club

    Open to 4th – 5th Grade Students

    Sponsor: Michael Silvey

    Guitar Club promotes musical literacy and life-long learning through involvement with the guitar.  Guitar Club brings together students to play and appreciate music and the guitar.  Students will participate in a performance to showcase their newly acquired talents.  This club will meet on Wednesday from 3:00 – 4:00.

  • Kidz Keys

    Open to K – 2nd Grade Students

    Sponsor: Michael Silvey

     Kidz Keys provides students in K through 2nd Grade an environment to explore and express their own creativity - all while having fun learning with friends! Our experienced teachers work with students to develop their own musical abilities, promote self-confidence, and encourage teamwork. This club will meet on Tuesday from 3:00-4:00.

  • Orchestra

    Open to 2nd - 5th Grade students

    Sponsor: Margaret Montalvo

    Orchestra Students will learn proper playing technique on violin, viola, cello or bass as well as be able to appreciate different styles of music. The curriculum is customized to be and include differentiated instruction so that children of all different learning styles can be successful learners. Orchestra will meet on Monday from 3:00 – 4:45.

  • Orff Ensemble & Recorder Club

    Open to 4th & 5th Grade by audition

    Sponsor: Marti Parker Orff Ensemble has a great time playing instruments like xylophones and hand percussion, and is open to all 4th and 5th graders!

    This club will meet on Tuesday mornings from 7:15 am – 8:05 am.

    4th-5th Grade

    P.E. Club provides a new opportunity for students to get out and move outside of P.E. class. This club
    promotes teamwork, cooperation, and of course physical activity. Meets Wednesdays from 7:30-8:15 am.

  • Readers Rally

    Open to 4th & 5th Grade Students

    Sponsor: Jennifer Duncan

    Readers Rally is a reading quiz bowl style competition for students in fourth and fifth grade by teacher recommendation. Students read books from a pre-determined list and answer questions about those books.

    This club will meet on Thursdays from 7:30 – 8:00 through February 20th, 2020.

  • Robotics Club

    Open to 5th Grade Students

    Students in 5th grade will have various opportunities to explore robotics. This club will begin in the Fall and the team will have the chance to compete in events.

    Spanish Club- start learning a second language.  The earlier you introduce a second language, the easier it will be for the child to pick it up.  This club will meet on Wednesday from 3:00 – 3:45.

    Information: Suwanee Showchoir is an extension of the music curriculum with an emphasis on performance skills. Students will participate in several performances throughout the school year.

  • Technology Club (Whiz Learning Kids)

    Whiz Kids (Tech Club)-  will meet after school to help enhance students' technological skills. Students will participate in hands-on sessions while learning to use Animation Design, Visual Art Tools, and 3D Design Tools. Students will have an opportunity to showcase their projects. Technology Club will meet on Wednesday from 3:00 – 4:00. Available to students in grades 2-5.

  • Young Rembrants

    Open to K – 5th Grade Students

    Sponsor: Jayne Blackman

    Back to school is in full swing as we present a bountiful selection of drawings that introduces our students to a fascinating world of color, pattern, and design. We say farewell to summer in our detailed still life drawing of a beach. We explore color usage and composition in our chameleon and fire truck drawings. In keeping with the season, our stylized fall leaves drawing challenges our technique and color scheme. Our students will learn cultural themes as they draw and color Kawaii inspired art. All this and more awaits your child in a Young Rembrandts classroom!
