Art Club
Club Description: Art Club serves as an extra-curricular focused on visual art. Many of the projects created in art club use media not commonly used in the art room, providing a new creative experience for club members.

Benefield Book Club
Club Description: The purpose of the Benefield Book Club is to promote reading with students who desire to share their love of reading with others. Students will read from the list of selected titles for Readers Rally, discuss the books, and answer questions about each title in preparation for the Readers Rally Competition.

Benefield Dancers Dance Team
Dance Club at Benefield Elementary School
Club Name: Benefield Dancers

Club Description: The purpose of Benefield Dancers’ club to provide opportunity to learn and perform dance. Through dancing the students are getting opportunity to grow as a whole child!
Physical development: Dancing is a highly physical activity, and kids who take dance lessons regularly should expect to see a significant improvement in their overall physical health.Social Development: Dance lessons can help children improve their social and communication skills, learn how to work as part of a team, develop a greater sense of trust and cooperation and make new friends
Cognitive Development: Becoming a skilled dancer requires practice, discipline and focus, skills that can be useful in other areas of your child's life. The dance lessons can help to spark creativity in young children
Psychological Development: As children adjust to the movements and postures required in dance, they begin to get a better sense of their bodies. As they become more comfortable in their own skin, their confidence and self-esteem also improve
Planned Activities: Students will participate in dance performances.
Who: Students in all grade level are invited to participate, (grades K -2 in Group 1 and grade 3 to 5 as Group 2) regardless of skill level; however, participation will be limited to the first 20 students per group register.

Benefield Singers
Club Description: The purpose of the club is to allow students to learn music through song and musical theater. Students wishing to participate must fill out a registration form and pay the fee of $35 if they are new to the group (if they have been in the group previously, they will only own $15), to pay for their polo shirt, music, and costumes for their performances. Come and join the Benefield Singers and have an amazing time singing your hearts out! GO TITANS!!

Club Description: First Ladies of Benefield was established in 2017 to promote ALL things Girl Power. In First Ladies of Benefield, girls will be exposed to woman entrepreneurs, academic support, peer socialization, and a one-of a kind experience.

Girls on the Run
Club Description: A physical activity-based positive youth development program that inspires 3rd through
5th grade girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running.Club Sponsors: Danielle Seeley-Parham

Planned Activities: Girls on the Run is a Run Curriculum that consists of a series of 24 lessons that build relationships with girls and create a safe environment for the team to interact and grow.

Intramural Sports club
Club Description:
Intramural Sports club will give students the opportunity to compete against their classmates in various sports. It will be open to 3th-5th grade students. The purpose of the intramural sports club is to provide fun, safe and structured play experiences that promote the physical, mental and social development for all students.

Who: Students in grades 3, 4, and 5 are invited to participate, regardless of skill level; however, participation will be limited to the first 30 students per grade level to register.

Lego Club
Club Description: The purpose of the club is to encourage creativity, problem-solving, innovation and teamwork through a wide range of fun and engaging challenges and games all based around the humble LEGO brick. We will be exploring aspects of Science, Technology, Engineering, & Math (STEM) activities in our challenges.

Math Club is to promote a love of mathematics, increase mental math skills, and show students how math is useful in everyday life. Robotics Team: Benefield Titan Bots
Club Description: FIRST LEGO League challenges kids in over 80 countries to think like scientists and engineers. During the season, teams are given a FIRST LEGO League Challenge. The teams will choose and solve real-world problems in the project. They will also build, test, and program an autonomous robot using LEGO MINDSTORMS® technology to solve a set of missions in the Robot Game. Throughout their experience, teams will operate under the FIRST LEGO League signature set of Core Values celebrating discovery, teamwork, and Gracious Professionalism®.

Safety Patrol
Club Description: The purpose of the School Safety Patrol is to remind students of the school safety rules and to guide them in safe arrival, dismissal, and movement through the building. It also provides students with the opportunity to strengthen their leadership skills by modeling how to be respectful, responsible, and ready.

Club Description: The purpose of Video Club is to learn, create, and collaborate with peers in order to produce short videos. 4th and 5th grade students are selected through an application process. Come join this year's ALL NEW Video Club! We will learn how to produce and film videos related to school events!
