Free and Reduced Meals
Clicke here for the online Free & Reduced Meal Application for SY19-20. The online version is identical to the paper application but is more efficient as the application is sent directly to the Central Office for processing. The link for the online application is posted on the GCPS homepage, the SNP homepage and the Free & Reduced webpage. The online version is available in both English and Spanish.
Per federal guidelines, parents are responsible for providing the student with lunch or lunch money ($1.25 for student breakfast, $2.25 for student lunch) while the student's application is pending. No charging will be allowed. Applications can take up to 10 days to be processed and students will not be able to eat for free or at the reduced price until their application has been approved. The approval process will be much faster if parents apply online.
Please note: If students were previously eligible for free or reduced-price meals, their status will remain the same for the first 30 days. Every family that is on the Free & Reduced program must re-apply every school year.
More information about the Free & Reduced Meal Program can by found by clicking this link to the GCPS website.
