• Gwinnett County Public Library Summer Reading Program

  • There are several fun Summer Reading Programs available for you and your children this summer. At Patrick, we encourage your kids to use this time to enjoy reading. Students may read books, magazines, newspapers, comics or listen to audio books. Families are encouraged to read aloud together!

All students who participate in one of the summer reading activities this year will earn a gift from our first Book Fair as well as an invitation to our Summer Reading Back to School Bash! Complete any of the following activities by August 19th to earn a ticket for the prize drawing. Each student could earn up to 3 tickets!

    1. Email Mrs. Mays at lisa_mays@gcpsk12.org with a photo of your family or child holding a book you loved reading this summer. You can take a picture in your backyard, at the pool, in your favorite reading chair, or while on vacation! Make sure you are smiling for the camera!
    2. Complete the Gwinnett County Public Library summer reading program. This year's theme is Oceans of Possibilities. Information can be found at https://www.gwinnettpl.org/kids/2022-summer-reading-challenge/ . (The public library will give us a list of names of all who completed the program.)
