• Prom is Saturday March 21 at the Georgia Freight Depot in downtown Atlanta from 8-11pm.  Beverages and desserts will be served.

    • MV Juniors and Seniors are eligible to attend.  Grade status is determined by credit hours earned, not credits expected.

    • Each MV Junior or Senior must purchase their OWN student ticket for their own person.  All tickets are sold on MyPaymentsPlus.  Student ticket cost increases by $10 for every 100 tickets sold. Tickets are not refundable and not transferrable.

    • “Date” tickets may only be purchased by a MV Junior or Senior for a person who is not a MV Junior or Senior, i.e. MV 9th/10th graders or non-MV people.  All MV student-dates must be on track to graduate.  MVHS reserves the right to deny entry.

    • All “dates” must be under the age of 21. Dates must enter with and be accompanied by the person who purchases their ticket.  MV students are responsible for the behavior and actions of their dates.

    • The last day to buy student tickets on MyPaymentsPlus is Friday March 13.  Thereafter, tickets are cash only and $100 each.  New for 2020: Date tickets can ONLY be purchased through MPP as the guest waiver MUST be electronically signed by the parent/guardian of the MV student responsible for the date/guest. Therefore, the last day to purchase a date ticket is Sunday, March 15.

    • Tickets will be distributed beginning Monday, March 16 before and after school at the MV Athletic Office ticket booth.

    • The absolute last day to purchase a student ticket or to pick up tickets is Wednesday March 18.  NO prom business will be conducted after Wednesday, March 18th

    • Prom Court: Voting is March 1-13 on e-class.  Students can search for Voting in the class menu.  The page should pop up with a survey in which they can VOTE for the nominees on Prom Court.  This year, MV will crown a King, Queen, Prince and Princess.  Juniors will only vote for juniors; seniors will only vote for seniors.

    • Prom is an optional yet formal event.  It is not required

    • Prom fees are NOT part of Senior Dues.

    • Valid picture ID is required to enter.  There will be no re-entry.

    • No hats or canes will be allowed.  All formalwear must be in good taste and adhere to the MV dresscode within reason.

    • There will be NO coat check. Students are expected to keep their belongings with them at all times.  MVHS is not responsible for any lost or left items.
