A Blended Approach to Online Learning
The instructional program for students in grades 4 – 9 offers a blended approach to online in which students can attend Learning Labs on campus once a week or login from home to join the live class sessions. Students in grades 9 – 12 have Campus Time one afternoon per week when they can meet directly with teachers to receive support or have questions answered face-to-face. Students enrolled in high school science courses also attend live science labs every three weeks. All state assessments and final exams are taken on campus in proctored settings.

4th & 5th Grade Blended Classroom
GOC is pleased to announce a new instructional delivery model for our 4th and 5th students at GOC. Elementary students will come on campus two days per week, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 – 2:30. Teachers will deliver face-to-face instruction while also using digital content to support learning. On the other days, students will complete their lessons online.
During the first three weeks of the school year, students will also come to campus on Monday mornings from 9:00 until noon. After the first three weeks, the Monday campus time is optional for students who are making adequate progress.
Most testing will be completed during the regularly scheduled on campus days. However, there may be test administrations which require other days on campus.
