About the Media Center
The Media Center has books and magazines for assigned study and recreational reading. It is open for use during the entire school day.
Students are encouraged to use the media center for reference work and for selecting books to read. There are special rules for reference books, magazines, and reserved books. The media specialist is always available to assist those who need help. Students are responsible for replacement of lost or damaged library books and media materials. Failure to fulfill this responsibility will result in report cards not being released to students and parents.

Hello everyone! My name is Heidi Glenn; this is my 7th year as a media specialist and it is my first year at Shiloh Elementary School! I am very excited to share experiences reading, learning, and creating with you all this year!
Our media center's mission is to promote a love of reading, encourage lifelong learning, and to support our students and teachers as they become effective users of ideas and information.
Some of my favorite things include fluffy puppies, old castles, pizza, coffee, lazy rainy days, and of course, books!
Email Ms. GlennI am so excited to be working with Ms. Glenn and the students at Shiloh ES! My goal is to ensure that all students and staff have daily access to the media center facilities and resources, as well as providing guidance and services that will support instructional needs and personal reading interests. Also, I strive to help empower students to become effective users of information resources (print and digital). Last, it is my hope to inspiring others to develop an appreciation of literature and a love of reading.
When I am not at school I love hanging out with my family, going to sporting events, shopping, cooking, and trying new restaurants.
