  • Beaverbots Robotics Club

    Sponsor:  Mrs. Atkins

    Mission:  The robotics club allows students to engage in research, problem-solving, coding and engineering.  

    Activities:Club will meet two times each week to prepare for the First Lego League regional competition.  Students will practice coding their Lego robots to complete missions and create an innovative solutions to a real-world problems.  

    National Affiliation:  First Lego League 

  • Beaver Ridge Music Enrichment Program

    Advisor: Ms. Simms

    Mission:  Students will have the opportunity to experience playing different instruments as an accompaniment to the songs they will be learning, such as ukulele, recorder, xylophones, and other percussion instruments.  

    Activities:  The BRES Music Enrichment Program is made up of 4th and 5th grade students. This special group performs periodically throughout the year. The group usually performs during the Fall and Spring, assemblies, and other special events and occasions as they arise. If you love to sing, this is the club for you!

  • Designer Club

    Designer Club

    Advisor: Ms. Gresham

     

    Mission: Students will have the opportunity to learn about the design elements of theatre such as costumes, lights, makeup, sound, and sets. They will also get a chance to design four short scenes and plays throughout the semester. 

     

    Application/Audition: Students must apply or audition to be invited into Designer Club. Once selected, members will meet on the last week of each month for meetings. 

     

    Activities:  The BRES Designer Club is made up of 4th and 5th-grade students. This special group will design and create theatrical elements for shows that will be put on at Beaver Ridge. Activities include creating props, painting sets, and putting together costumes. 

  • Drama Club

    Advisor: Ms. Gresham 

     

    Mission:  Students will have the opportunity to experience acting in different scenes and short plays throughout each semester. These plays and scenes will range from fables, to fairy tales, and comedies. 

     

    Auditions: Students must audition to be invited to Drama Club. Once selected, members will be given specific dates for Drama Club to meet.

    Activities:  The BRES Drama Club is made up of 4th and 5th-grade students. This special group performs periodically throughout the year. The group will perform during the Fall and/or Spring, school assemblies, and other special events and occasions as they arise. We have a fall group and a spring group that students will audition for.

  • Good News Club

    Advisor: Ms. Burke

    Mission: We strive to build strong foundations in children using biblical principles to teach good character and morals.

    Activities:  Games, Music, Bible Lessons, Snacks, and Fun (Child Evangelism Fellowship)

  • Health and Wellness Club

    Advisor: Taylor Johnson

    Mission: The mission of the Health and Wellness Club is to give students an opportunity to engage in wellness activities to empower them to make healthy life choices. We will be learning about the benefits of healthy eating, exercise, and good sportsmanship through various activities and games. 

    Activities: Students will engage in various physical activities.  These will include endurance running, games, team-building activities, and learning about the health benefits and factors that go along with having a healthier lifestyle.

    Mission: To promote the ideals of character, service, and leadership.

    Activities: Students will participate in opportunities and experiences that enable members to demonstrate the ideals of character, achievement, service, and leadership in a global community.
