    Mission:  IT Girls is a program focused on enhancing STEM education for 4th and 5th grade girls.  This program is designed to give girls a deeper look into how STEM relates to professional careers through candid discussions, guest speakers, and interactive project work.

  • Beaverbots Robotics Club

    Sponsor: Mrs. LaShun A. Pecharka

    Mission:  The robotics club allows students to engage in research, problem-solving, coding and engineering.  

    Activities: ​Club will meet once a week to prepare for the First Lego League regional competition.  Students will practice coding their Lego robots to complete missions and create innovative solutions to real-world problems.  

    National Affiliation:  First Lego League 

  • Eco Explorers

    • Sponsor: Mrs. LaShun A. Pecharka
    • Purpose: To empower students to participate and engage in meaningful environmental activities and projects in our community
    • Activities: Students will learning about reducing, reusing, and recycling, and how to plant, grow, and harvest vegetables
    • Students: 2nd and 3rd grade
    • When: Dates provided for parents.  Most Tuesdays, September through November and March through May.  

  • Running Club

    Sponsors: Mrs. Diamond Crume and Mrs. Taylor Johnson

    Purpose: To give students the opportunity to engage in activities to build their running endurance.

    Activities: Students will participate in activities that encourage teamwork, sportsmanship and learning healthy habits.

    Junior Beta Club

    • Sponsor: Mrs. LaShun A. Pecharka
    • Co-Sponsors:  Ms. Karen Quintana and Mrs. Saima Rahman
    • Purpose: To promote the ideals of academic achievement, character, service and leadership among elementary school students. 
    • Activities: We provide opportunities and experiences that enable members to demonstrate the ideals of character, achievement, service, and leadership in a global community.
    • Students: 4th and 5th grade students by invitation
    • When: Beginning the 1st quarter of each school year
