"I love coming to work every day at Couch Middle School. It is an honor and a privilege to work with 7th grade students as their counselor.  Students come to school with problems and concerns. Often it is difficult to focus on academics when you are battling issues at home or with your peers. I believe all students have within themselves the potential to solve their problems, or at least learn how to cope with them. As their counselor, it is my responsibility to guide them and assist them in finding solutions. I encourage students to give their best in all situations academically and socially. I value family and community and work closely with parents to support their child.  My door is always open to my students, and I welcome them to come in and seek guidance. Couch’s counseling program promotes high standards and high expectations that challenge all students across academic, personal, social, and career domains. Indeed, I am blessed to be a part of Couch middle School’s counseling department."
