Mr. Andrew Hedrick

An Illinois Native and brand new to Georgia, Mr. Hedrick received his Bachelor's Degree in the Teaching of French with a minor in History from the University of Illinois at Chicago in Chicago, IL. He is very thrilled to be here at Peachtree Ridge, and is excited to work with French I & II students!

Originally from Moline, IL, a town along the IA-IL border on the Mississippi River, from a young age Mr. Hedrick has always been very interested in the French Language, one reason due to his grandmother also having been a French Teacher. In High school, he had the opportunity to go on a summer Youth Exchange with Rotary International, and spent half his summer Junior Year living primarily in Normandy, France. The prior year, he went with his classmates on a trip to France and Spain. Since then, he has been back to France numerous times and has been to many other French-speaking countires including Belgium and Switzerland and is very interested in French-speaking Africa. He is always happy to share these expeiences and/or give advice about traveling abroad, whether for fun or for studies. Feel free to stop by!
