  • Our Mission

    The mission of the South Gwinnett High School Counseling Program is to implement a comprehensive school counseling program that fosters high student achievement, character development, leadership skills, and college and career opportunities.  Through collaboration with teachers, administration, parents and the surrounding community, the South Gwinnett High School Counseling department will endlessly aid students to be successful in achieving their current and future goals.



    Main Counseling Office

    The main counseling office can be reached through the school's front office.  Our office's support staff can assist students and parents with the following items:

    • New student registration (by appointment only)
    • Withdrawals
    • Record’s requests
    • Address/name changes
    • Enrollment verification letters
    • Transcript requests for $5.00 (mypaymentsplus)
    • Work permits for $ 2.00
    • Immunization record copies for $ 2.00
    • ​Bus Passes for new students (alternative passes- see Contact Dr. Stanley Burney- Community School Dir.)
