Hello Comet Family! This is my 5th year at South Gwinnett High School in the BEH (Business, Entrepreneurship, & Hospitality) Academy and my 3rd year as Co-Dual Enrollment counselor, and I am excited to be a part of such an awesome FAMILY and COMMUNITY! I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Habilitative Sciences with a concentration in Psychology from Appalachian State University (Go Mountaineers!), where I played collegiate basketball. I started my career in the mental health field working with students and adults with varying disabilities. After marriage and having my two wonderful sons, I decided it was time for a change. I received my Masters in School Counseling from Capella University and was inducted into the Chi Sigma Iota professional Honor Society. Shortly after, I started my School Counseling career here in Gwinnett County Public Schools. I’m a member of the American School Counselor Association (ASCA) and the Georgia School Counselor Association (GSCA).As a counselor, I strongly believe in serving the ‘whole’ child to ensure student success and hope to have a positive influence on my students and faculty.

    Fun Facts:

    1. I love singing, although I may not sound good, but I love it.
    2. I love to swim.
    3. I love to sleep.
