  • After School Soccer Club

    Lovin ES After School Soccer Club Information

  • Chorus

    • Teacher: Ms. Dodd, Music Teacher
    • Purpose: To sing and perform and learn to work as a cohesive ensemble
    • Students: 4th and 5th grades (no audition necessary)
    • When: Wednesdays at 6:45 am (Start date TBA)
  • Eco-Heroes (Environmental Club)

    • Teacher: Mrs. Hennebaul, STEM Content Specialist
    • Purpose: To empower students to participate and engage in meaningful environmental activities and projects in our community
    • Activities: Students will be working in our STEAM Garden, learning about reducing, reusing, and recycling, composting, and how to plant, grow, and harvest vegetables
    • Students: 2nd and 3rd grades
    • When: Every other Thursday after school, usually September - April (Specific dates and times TBA)
  • First Lego League

    • Teachers: Mrs. Park, Local School Technology Coordinator
    • Purpose: To promote STEM/STEAM and the engineering design process, culminating in a robotics competition.
    • Activities: Creating, building, testing, and having fun
    • Students: 4th and 5th grades (by application)
    • When: 3:10 pm - Dates TBA
  • Girls on the Run

     Girls on the Run logo
    • Teacher: Hope Williams, Gabrielle Blount, Raquel Allen, and Angela Legg
    • Purpose: To inspire girls to be joyful, healthy, and confident using a fun, exercise-based curriculum that integrates running.
    • Students: 3-5 grade girls
    • When: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 3:00 - 4:30
  • Good News Club

    • Teacher: TBA
    • Purpose: Bible lessons, fun and games
    • Activities: Parent permission required
    • Students: 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades
    • When: Mondays from 3:15-4:30 pm, Start date TBA
  • Jr. Beta Club

    • Teacher: Mrs. Hollifield, 5th Grade Teacher
    • Purpose: To promote the ideals of character, service, and leadership
    • Activities: We provide opportunities and experiences that enable members to demonstrate the ideals of character, achievement, service, and leadership in a global community.
    • Students: 5th grade (by invitation)
    • When: Beginning the 2nd nine weeks during TDPE
  • Lovin Leaders

    • Teacher: Mrs. Hope Williams, Counselor
    • Purpose: To provide student leadership development
    • Activities: Students will participate in leadership development activities including service projects.
    • Students: 3rd, 4th & 5th grades; by teacher recommendation
    • When: Meetings held approximately every 6 weeks during lunch
  • Readers Rally

    • Teacher: Mrs. Cruce, Media Specialist
    • Purpose: To promote the love of reading
    • Activities: Students will read and discuss books from a county selected list of 15 books. Other activities will include book reviews, book trailers, and quiz bowl games.
    • Students: 4th and 5th grades
    • When: Tuesdays at 3:10 pm starting in October
  • Safety Patrol

    • Teacher: Mrs. A. Johnson, 5th Grade Teacher
    • Purpose: To promote student leadership and encourage safe behavior among students as they enter and exit the building
    • Activities: Patrol designated location during arrival and dismissal
    • Students: 4th and 5th grades
    • When: During lunch
  • Strategy Games Club

    • Teacher: Ms. Luttrell, Math Content Specialist
    • Purpose: To improve critical thinking skills through the use of a variety of games
    • Activities: We will provide instruction in a variety of Mensa Top Five games. Strategies used will also be discussed.
    • Students: 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades (by application)
    • When: Most Tuesdays at 7:00 am, September - December
  • Tiger P.E. Club

    • Teacher: Coach Jackson, P.E. Teacher
    • Purpose: To work toward improving their bodies for running through exercise and cardiovascular endurance activities
    • Students: 3rd, 4th and 5th grades
    • When: Wednesdays 3:15-4:00 pm starting in September
  • Yearbook Club

    • Teacher: Mrs. J. Carter, 3rd Grade Teacher
    • Purpose: To publish a quality Lovin yearbook
    • Activities: Learn about design guidelines, layouts, and how to take a good photo
    • Students: 4th and 5th grades (by application)
    • When: During lunch and some Thursday afternoons
