Science Olympiad Club Information

  • Faculty Advisor/Sponsor: John Nice

Mission/Purpose: To compete with a team of 15 students in 23 events at the Invitational, Regional, and State levels. The events range through all areas of science, including Life and Social Science, Earth and Space Science, Physical Science, Earth and Space Science, Technology and Engineering, and Inquiry and Nature of Science.

Planned Activities: Practices will consist mainly of individual event meetings, with some team practices and meetings throughout the year. The team will compete in multiple Invitational Tournaments, a Regional Tournament, and (hopefully) the State Tournament. For all who are interested in Science, Technology, and/or Engineering, this is a wonderful opportunity to meet others with similar interests, and to compete and earn medals in events tailored to all interests!
