How Do We Communicate With You?
Below are a variety of communication methods that Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) uses to share important information like events, news, and emergency alerts with students, families, staff, and the community.
Each school in GCPS also has access to the platforms below. Depending on the school community needs, our schools use more or less of the platforms to keep students, families, and the community connected and informed. Find additional apps and resources to support your student and engage with your child's school by visiting the school's website.
GCPS District and School Website
Our district and school websites have a tremendous amount of information and resources. Our websites are accessible, translate into more than 80 languages, and are regularly updated with news, events, resources, and other important information.
ParentSquare
ParentSquare is a simple, safe way to stay in the loop with your child's school and the district. You'll receive important updates such as weather closings and delays, school and class news, event calendars, upcoming activities, photos, and more—all in one place.
GCPS also now offers Community Groups on ParentSquare. A Community Group is a public self-enrollment group. Students, families, and staff, as well as users from outside our district are able to join the group from a our district's Join Community Groups page. GCPS Schools may also choose to provide school community groups, schools that do participate will have a "Join Community Groups" page linked from the school website.
When you download the app, you can choose how and when you get messages—right away or just once a day—so you can customize what works best for you.
ParentVUE
ParentVUE is your secure portal to support your child's education. Access real-time updates on grades, assignments, attendance, class schedules, and school documents—anytime, anywhere. With one account, you can view information for all your children enrolled in GCPS schools.
Download the ParentVUE app on your smartphone to stay connected on the go.
