Protect Your Child with Student Accident Insurance

Accidents can happen anytime—during class, recess, sports, or on the way to school. Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) does not provide medical coverage for student injuries. That's why families are encouraged to consider Student Accident Insurance through K&K Insurance.

This (optional) low-cost insurance helps cover expenses related to accidental injuries at school or during school-sponsored activities. It's especially useful as a supplement to your primary insurance—or for families without insurance.

Why Consider Student Accident Insurance?

  • GCPS does not cover injuries that occur during school or school-sponsored activities.
  • This insurance provides coverage for accidental injuries and can supplement your family's existing health insurance.
  • Coverage is offered through K&K Insurance, a trusted provider with multiple affordable plan options.

What You Need to Know:

  • Choose from several coverage options and pricing tiers.
  • Coverage is available for school-time only or 24/7 protection.
  • You can enroll anytime during the school year.
