What are the Educational Effectiveness Surveys (EES)?
The Educational Effectiveness Surveys (EES) are the annual surveys GCPS uses to collect feedback from students, staff, and families. The EES Surveys are administered online during the spring semester. More information about each EES Survey is available online on the GCPS Surveys webpage.

What is the purpose of the EES Surveys?
The EES Surveys were developed by the Center for Educational Effectiveness. GCPS uses the EES Surveys to gather information and feedback from students, staff, and families within the research-based frameworks of the Characteristics of High-Performing Schools. The EES Student Survey asks students in grades 4-12 about their school, the practices that affect student learning, and how well their school is performing. The EES Staff Survey and EES Family Survey ask staff members and GCPS families about their school experience and collect feedback on the Characteristics of High-Performing Schools.
