Students at Maxwell High School of Technology participated in a hands-on look at their future during the school’s Automotive Career Fair. Industry professionals from 17 different companies across metro Atlanta gathered to share insights about careers in the automotive field.
The event, held in the school’s three automotive classrooms and labs, connected students with representatives from dealerships, independent repair shops, parts suppliers, truck and equipment repair businesses, and technical colleges offering Auto and Diesel programs. Many organizations brought swag, handouts, and even vehicles to showcase outside, adding excitement to the event.
“This was a fantastic opportunity for our students to explore career options, learn about earnings potential, and understand what it takes to enter the workforce,” says Maxwell High School of Technology General Automotive Services Teacher Max Chavez. “We want them to see that a future in the automotive industry is not only possible but full of possibilities.”
More than 200 students were exposed to a diverse range of career paths. For students passionate about cars, engines, and all things mechanical, the career fair was a glimpse into a bright and promising future.
