Six Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) students have been named recipients of the 2024-25 GCPS Caring Award. Sponsored by the GCPS Office of Counseling, College and Career Services, the Caring Award honors elementary, middle, and high school students who demonstrate empathy, kindness, community engagement, and leadership at their respective schools.

GCPS Director of Counseling, College and Career Services, Dr. Demetria Williams, says the honorees are culture setters in their respective schools. “I am incredibly proud of our students who have been honored with the GCPS Caring Award. Their dedication to kindness, empathy, and community service exemplifies the values we strive to instill in all our students,” Dr. Williams shares. “These young individuals are not only making a positive impact today but are also shaping a brighter future for everyone.”
