The Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) Communications and Media Relations Team has earned nine 2025 Georgia School Public Relations Association (GSPRA) awards. The honors include two audio media awards, two photography recognitions, two special purpose publication honors, two website recognitions, and one award for excellence in writing. These awards spotlight the team’s diligence and passion for communicating district initiatives and sharing the daily successes of students and staff in Gwinnett’s classrooms and athletic fields.

“Every recognition is really a celebration of our students and the incredible work happening in classrooms, on fields, and across our school communities each day,” says GCPS Chief Engagement Officer Melissa Laramie. “Our communications team is dedicated to telling those stories with clarity, accuracy, and pride so families receive clear, timely, and relevant information. I’m grateful for their commitment to lifting up student success and serving our GCPS community.”
