GCPS High Schools rated among the best in state and nation

     Gwinnett School of Mathematics, Science, and Technology (GSMST) has been recognized as the top high school in Georgia and one of the best in the nation by U.S. News and World Report. GSMST ranked #1 in Georgia High and 13th nationally on the publication’s list of Best High Schools. U.S. News and World Report evaluated data on more than 24,000 public high schools in 50 states and the District of Columbia. Nearly 18,000 public high schools were ranked on six key factors, including their performance on state assessments and their effectiveness in preparing students for college.      Additionally, 24 Gwinnett County high schools made the Best Georgia High Schools list. Of the GCPS schools ranked, six schools are in the top 50 in the state (GSMST, North Gwinnett High, Paul Duke STEM High, Brookwood High, Mill Creek High, and Peachtree Ridge High), and 15 are ranked in the top 100 statewide (GSMST, North Gwinnett High, Paul Duke STEM High, Brookwood High, Mill Creek High, Peachtree Ridge High, Archer High, Parkview High, Lanier High, McClure Health Science High, Mountain View High, Seckinger High, Grayson High, Collins Hill High, and Dacula High).
