GCPS Hosts 2025 “Signing Day” for aspiring teachers

In an effort to “grow our own,” Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) will host the 9th annual Future Teacher “Signing Day” celebration on April 16, 2025, honoring all GCPS students who are planning to pursue an education degree after high school. All GCPS students interested in teaching are invited to attend with their families to learn about the world of teaching and the many opportunities associated with becoming a Gwinnett educator.
The evening of fun and networking includes:
- Scholarship presentation
- Networking with college and university representatives, GCPS Directors, and professional organizations
- Guest Speaker: Jenna Cloninger, GCPS Teacher of the Year
- Announcements of educator-related scholarships
The event will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Board Room at the J. Alvin Wilbanks Instructional Support Center, located at 437 Old Peachtree Road NW, Suwanee.
