GIVE Center West has been awarded a Georgia Power Workforce for Georgia Grant. This $50,000 grant, administered by the Georgia Power Foundation, Inc., aims to support workforce development through educational programs across the state. The grant will help expand the Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education (CTAE) pathway in Engineering at GIVE Center West. The program, known as GIVE RESET (Resilience Education Supporting Employment Training), is designed to provide students with essential skills and training to meet the workforce needs of local industries and businesses. Additionally, the program incorporates resilience education to support students' social and emotional development, ensuring their success in the workforce.
