Nine Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) students have been recognized as 2025 Georgia Scholars by the Georgia Department of Education (GaDOE). This year’s total more than doubles the number of GCPS students who received the honor in 2024 and is nine times higher than in 2023. The students are among a select group of 145 graduating seniors across Georgia to receive the honor. Each honoree receives a seal for their diploma upon graduation. The Georgia Scholars program identifies and honors high school seniors who have demonstrated excellence in both academic and community life.
