GCPS students participate in SkillsUSA National Signing Day

Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) students in the Berkmar High School Construction Academy and Maxwell High School of Technology recently participated in SkillsUSA National Signing Day events. SkillsUSA National Signing Day is a nationwide celebration showcasing the next generation of skilled professionals.
This was Berkmar High’s 8th Annual Construction Signing Day. Nearly three dozen students signed letters of intent to pursue skilled career paths or signed on to begin their careers with construction companies after graduation.
“We are incredibly impressed by the talent our students bring every day to Berkmar High School,” says Berkmar High School Principal Dr. Gabriel Zaragoza. “The SkillsUSA Signing Day event demonstrated a commitment for our school to celebrate each student and their accomplishments. We look forward to seeing our student thrive in their selected industries and impacting our community."
