GCPS Students Secure Top Honors at Georgia HOSA State Championship

More than 60 Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) students earned top 10 finishes at the 2026 Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) State Leadership Conference.
The students, representing 10 GCPS high schools, competed in a series of events, focused on health professions, leadership, recognition, health science, emergency preparedness, ATC testing, and teamwork. Members, advisors, and guests participated in educational workshops and special events during the conference. HOSA will host its International Leadership Conference on June 17-20 in Indianapolis, Ind., where qualifying students will compete in the same categories against schools nationwide.
HOSA is a national organization that promotes healthcare careers and opportunities for students at various educational levels. HOSA currently enrolls more than 15,000 members in Georgia and 235,000 nationwide. Its goal is to enhance healthcare quality for everyone. The organization aims to provide a unique approach to student development through various conferences and leadership opportunities.
