Gwinnett BOE approves new appointment at September Board Meeting

      During its regularly scheduled meeting on September 18, 2025, the Gwinnett County Board of Education (BOE) approved the appointment of a new principal. Dr. Adrienne J. Wylie has been named principal at Moore Middle School and will replace Lamont Mays who is retiring. Dr. Wylie currently serves as Assistant Principal at Peachtree Ridge High School.

Dr. Wylie is a graduate of the 2023 Quality-Plus Leader Academy, Aspiring Principal Program, Cohort 16.
