Gwinnett BOE approves new appointments at August Board Meeting

During its regularly scheduled meeting on August 21, 2025, the Gwinnett Board of Education (BOE) approved the appointment of one new principal and one executive director. Jeremy M. Reily has been named the first principal of the new Murphy Middle School. Reily currently serves as principal at Bay Creek Middle School and will fill the inaugural role of principal at Murphy Middle School in January 2026. Angela C. Bentley has been appointed Executive Director of Employee Services in the Division of Human Resources. Bentley currently serves as the Director of Total Rewards for GoHealth Urgent Care, Atlanta.

Mr. Reily is a graduate of the 2017 Quality-Plus Leader Academy, Aspiring Principal Program, Cohort 11, and the 2012 Quality-Plus Leader Academy, Aspiring Leader Program, Cohort 3.
