Gwinnett BOE approves new appointments at February 2026 Board Meeting

     During its regularly scheduled meeting on February 19, 2026, the Gwinnett County Board of Education (BOE) approved the appointment of two new principals and one executive director. Keisha B. Jackson has been named principal at Britt Elementary School. She replaces Melissa Madsen, who is retiring. Jackson currently serves as Assistant Principal at Britt Elementary. Chad D. Charoenlap has been named principal at Pinckneyville Middle School. He replaces Todd Marschke who is retiring. Charoenlap currently serves as Assistant Principal at Trickum Middle School. Additionally, Dr. Christopher E. Carter has been named Executive Director of Employee Relations & Compliance. Dr. Carter currently serves as the Interim Executive Director of Employee Relations & Compliance.
