Gwinnett BOE approves new appointments at March Board Meeting

     During its regularly scheduled meeting on March 13, 2025, the Gwinnett County Board of Education (BOE) approved the appointments of two new principals. Sheryl “Sheri” P. Tolar has been named principal at Duncan Creek Elementary School. Tolar currently serves as an assistant principal at Parsons Elementary School. Additionally, Dr. Jaime L. Fooks has been named principal at Walnut Grove Elementary School. Dr. Fooks currently serves as an assistant principal at Dyer Elementary School.
