     During its regularly scheduled meeting on November 21, 2024, the Gwinnett County Board of Education approved the appointment of new principals at Harmony Elementary School, McClure Health Science High School, and Twin Rivers Middle School.

     Dr. Emily W. Nelson has been named the new principal at Harmony Elementary. Dr. Nelson currently serves as assistant principal at Harmony Elementary and will replace Jonathan Day, who is retiring. Dr. Gypsy Hernandez has been named the new principal at McClure Health Science High School. She currently serves as principal at Coleman Middle School and will fill the position formerly held by Nicole Mosley, who is retiring. Dr. Quincy L. Wallace has been named the new principal at Twin Rivers Middle. Dr. Wallace, who currently serves as Assistant Principal at Lanier High School, will succeed Betsy Kelly, who is retiring.
