During the board meeting on October 17, 2024, the Gwinnett County Board of Education approved the appointment of new principals at Osborne, Snellville, and Sweetwater Middle Schools.
Dr. Douglas J. Callahan has been named the new principal at Osborne Middle School. Dr. Callahan currently serves as Assistant Principal at North Gwinnett Middle School. Miansinee “Meshaun” M. Vaughn has been named the new principal at Snellville Middle School. Vaughn currently serves as Assistant Principal at Shiloh High School. Dr. Ivelisse Hernandez has been named the new principal at Sweetwater Middle School. Dr. Hernandez currently serves as Assistant Principal at Kanoheda Elementary School.
