Welcome to this special edition of Connected: The Senior Show! Hosted entirely by students, our final episode of the school year includes GCPS seniors Amad, Yennelle, Aleyah, and rising senior Kaylee as they reflect on memorable achievements and milestones from across Gwinnett County Public Schools this year. They also share advice for underclassmen alongside seniors from Seckinger High School, while looking ahead to welcoming Dr. Alexandra Estrella on July 1, and close out the show by celebrating the district's 2026 valedictorians. A special thanks to the AVTF Teachers at Archer HS, Brookwood HS, Discovery HS, and Paul Duke STEM HS for helping make this show possible.

Dr. Candice Richardson 2027 GCPS Teacher of the Year
If the saying “each one, teach one” were a person, it would be this teacher, for whom teaching is not simply the transmission of knowledge, but a deliberate act of care and conviction. A researcher herself, she creates opportunities for her students to chart successful paths in her class. Decoding genomes and discovering the natural world’s hidden treasures, students also uncover hidden worlds within themselves—worlds rich in belonging, purpose, and potential.
