GCPS TV Weekly Highlights
Week of March 9, 2026
Dr. Lisa Babbage, 2027 Teacher of the Year Finalist
In this teacher’s classroom, history comes alive. She turns the past into stories students can step inside, connecting lessons to the world they know and are learning to shape. She sparks curiosity and courage through role play, real-world connections, guidance, and rigorous assessment, showing students that learning is a lifelong pursuit of discovery, understanding, and the power of belonging to a larger story.

Gwinnett Science, Engineering and Innovation Fair 2026
GCPS students are building the future one project at a time, starting in the classroom and culminating in the 48th Annual Gwinnett Regional Science, Engineering, and Innovation Fair. The largest of its kind in the nation, this year's fair was bigger than ever, hosting nearly 1,000 student projects from more than 1,800 K-12 students representing 127 schools. Supported by business, community, and educational partners, as well as volunteers from across the Gwinnett community, the Science Fair provides invaluable professional development for students and inspires them to design innovative solutions to real-world problems.
