Supporting the Success of All Students - PBIS in GCPS Schools
Learn how Kanoheda ES uses the Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports framework to create an energetic culture of care and to prepare students for academic achievement. Operating across all 142 Gwinnett County public schools, the PBIS framework cultivates safe and supportive schools wherein students are given the social-emotional tools they need to be character strong and ready for academic success.

Duluth HS Students Partner with the City of Duluth to Paint the Town
Duluth High School students, in partnership with the City of Duluth and the nonprofit organization Paint Love, recently redecorated storm drains on George Rogers Avenue. Now, the street leading up to the Duluth Wildcats' football stadium is decorated with murals the students helped design, promoting both environmental awareness and civic pride. This project was also supported by the Duluth Public Arts Commission, Gwinnett Creativity Fund, and Explore Gwinnett.
