Anderson-Livsey Elementary School Renames Family Engagement Room
Anderson-Livsey Elementary School’s Family Engagement Room has a new name: The Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., Rho Beta Sigma Alumni Chapter Family Engagement Room. The room was renamed to recognize the organization's commitment to enhancing the school community.
Anderson-Livsey Elementary’s principal, Christopher Jackson, is thankful for the partnership. “We are fortunate to directly benefit from Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., Rho Beta Sigma Alumni Chapter’s Adopt-A-School Program,” Principal Jackson says. “The organization’s commitment to our school has made a difference in the lives of our students and their families. Renaming our Family Engagement Room in their honor is a small token of our appreciation for their tireless efforts and unwavering support.”
Over the past four years, Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., Rho Beta Sigma Alumni Chapter has been a key supporter of Anderson-Livsey Elementary. The fraternity’s contributions include providing monthly Positive Behavior and Intervention Support incentives for students, teacher appreciation gifts, book exchanges, and consistent volunteer assistance in classrooms to support teaching and learning.
“We are honored by this recognition,” Chapter President Christopher Pugh shares. “Our partnership with Anderson-Livsey Elementary has been incredibly rewarding, and we look forward to continuing our efforts to support the success and well-being of the entire school community.”
The newly named Engagement Room serves as a center for family involvement. It offers a welcoming environment for parents, guardians, and community members to interact with the school, participate in workshops, and access valuable resources.
