EES Student Wellness Screener + Superintendent’s Listening & Learning Tour Student Survey

     To help improve your child's school, Gwinnett County Public Schools students in grades 3-12 will participate in the EES Student Wellness Screener during school this September. This confidential screening will provide our school and district staff with valuable data about students' academic, social, and emotional needs. 

 

     The results of the EES Student Screener will be used to identify students needing additional support in the areas of Academic Behaviors, Social Behaviors, and Emotional Behaviors. The 19-item screener should take students less than 10 minutes to complete. View the Screener Questions. 

 

     Additionally, Superintendent Dr. Alexandra Estrella wants to hear from students as part of her Listening and Learning Tour. The Listening & Learning Tour Student Survey will be included with the EES Student Universal Wellness Screener for students in grades 4-12. The Listening & Learning Tour Student Survey is designed to help Dr. Estrella learn more about the experiences of GCPS students and what’s most important to them.      Families may complete the Opt-Out process if they do not wish for their student(s) to participate in the screener and the superintendent’s survey. Families may use the Parent Portal to complete this process or send a written request to the school to opt their student(s) out of this survey. Families who wish to opt their student(s) out are encouraged to submit their request as soon as possible to allow adequate time for the school to process the opt-out before administration. Students who are opted out of the EES Survey will not be shown the EES Student Wellness Screener nor the Listening and Learning Tour survey.
