Sallie Holloway, District Administration Woman of Excellence award winner

Sallie Holloway has been named a District Administration Woman of Distinction award winner. This award, presented by the District Administration Leadership organization, honors leaders whose innovative initiatives have transformed education within school districts.

Holloway, Gwinnett County Public Schools’ Director of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Computer Science (CS), was nominated by Digital Promise for her dedication to innovation, strategic planning, and student success.

“Being recognized as a Woman of Distinction is truly an honor, and I’m grateful to the team at Digital Promise for nominating me,” Holloway shares. “I feel inspired by the other women in leadership who were honored alongside me—it’s a privilege to be recognized for my work among such accomplished leaders.”

A passionate advocate for AI-Ready learning and CS for All, Holloway has played a pivotal role in advancing equitable access to technology and future-ready education. “I appreciate the investment in innovation and strategic planning to ensure we are preparing students for their futures, not our past,” she said. “Creating and supporting programs like AI-Ready learning and CS for All are passions of mine, both professionally and personally.”
