Georgia Gwinnett College welcomes GCPS students to Preview Day

     Georgia Gwinnett College (GGC) hosted its GGC Preview Day, and collaborated with Gwinnett County Public Schools’ (GCPS) Office of Counseling, College and Career Services to engage GCPS students in “the Grizzly Experience” on the Lawrenceville campus. The event welcomed 100 GCPS students and their family members, connecting them with current GGC students and faculty and the more than 60 academic programs available to prospective students. GCPS students also had the opportunity to participate in financial aid and college application support workshops.  

     "GGC's Preview Day provided a great opportunity for GCPS students to make connections with financial aid assistance while getting a taste of the college experience,” says Durrant Williams, GCPS Director of Counseling, College, and Career Services. “We look forward to growing our partnership and helping more GCPS students tap into GGC as a postsecondary choice."
