21 GCPS teachers earn Jackson EMC grant awards

     Twenty-one Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) educators have been awarded funds of up to $2,000 from Jackson Electric Membership Corporation’s (EMC) Bright Ideas Grant. The grant aims to financially support educators in innovative class projects. Annually, eligible middle school teachers (grades 6-8) can submit a project that provides innovative and creative learning experiences, defined goals and learning objectives, and ongoing uses in the classroom for students among other criteria.

     Jackson EMC has worked with communities and their employees to improve the quality of electricity for Northeast Georgia Residents since 1938.
