The Gwinnett County Public Schools’ (GCPS) Human Resources Team has earned a Platinum Award for Recruitment Processes and for Strategic Partnerships from the Georgia Association of School Personnel Administrators (GASPA). Each year, GASPA recognizes school personnel departments across Georgia for excellence in a variety of human resources practices. Awards are presented at the Platinum, Gold, and Silver levels to honor outstanding achievement.
“Strong recruitment strategies and educational partnerships for talent pipelines are foundational to ensuring GCPS has high-quality teachers in the classroom,“ says Chief Human Resources Officer Cathy Hardin.
The Georgia Association of School Personnel Administrators (GASPA) was formed in 1966 as a professional organization for persons working in the field of human resources. GASPA provides up-to-date professional development and resources through two statewide conferences annually and through strong partnerships with state agencies and educational organizations.
