Norcross High School
Vaccination Clinic: Monday, November 28 3:00 - 6:30pm
Norcross Cluster Families,
GCPS has partnered with GNR Public Health to offer required vaccinations for students attending 7th and 11th grade. Through this partnership, students can receive Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria and pertussis vaccine) and MCV4 (adolescent meningococcal vaccine). In addition to these required vaccinations, GNR will have limited supplies of flu vaccine and COVID-19 vaccines.
All students born on or after January 1, 2002, and are entering, advancing or transferring into 7th grade in Georgia need proof of an adolescent pertussis (whooping cough) booster vaccination (called “Tdap”) and an adolescent meningococcal vaccination (MCV4).
Effective July 1, 2021, children 16 years of age and older, who are entering the 11th grade (including new entrants), must have received one booster dose of the meningococcal conjugate vaccine (MCV4), unless their initial dose was administered on or after their 16th birthday. This MCV4 booster is required in addition to the booster required for 7th grade. It is important to note that the vaccine is only required for students who are at least 16 years of age AND attending 11th grade.
Families will need to provide proof of insurance for Tdap, MCV4 and flu vaccines. Students 18 years of age and younger who do not have health insurance will be eligible for vaccines at no charge through our mobile clinics under the Vaccines for Children program. COVID-19 vaccinations are available regardless of insurance status.
We will be offering these vaccines at Norcross High School on Monday, November 28 from 3:00 – 6:30 p.m.

Student Drop Off & Pick Up
We want all of our students, staff and families to be safe while on our campus. For this reason, we ask that student drop off and pick up take place in the Student Parking lot along the sidewalk nearest the school. Students should not be dropped off or picked up in the staff parking lot due to the number of people walking through this area. In addition, and there is not a safe way to drop students off on a sidewalk in this area.
We appreciate your help with this as we work to keep our students and staff safe.
Mr. Will Bishop
Norcross High School Principal
