GCPS understands the critical role that After-School Care plays in the lives of our students and their families. To better serve the GCPS community, our office partners with licensed After-School Care agencies to provide high-quality, reliable care before and after school from 3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. (hours vary by school).

About our Partnerships
All of our partner agencies are certified Bright from the Start programs through the Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning (DECAL). This accreditation guarantees that your child is in the care of qualified professionals who are committed to their well-being and safety. The Bright from the Start rating system assesses childcare programs based on a set of rigorous quality standards, ensuring the highest level of care and education.
Our partner agencies work closely with school leadership and staff to ensure that the care provided aligns with school policies and educational goals.
