Amazon Voucher FAQ

All active GCPS classroom teachers for the 2024-25 school year.

Teachers received an e-invite from Amazon Business no-reply@amazon.com in mid-August 2024.

Once teachers receive the e-invite and create their Amazon Business Account, they can begin ordering items using the Amazon checkout process. Teachers must use their GCPS email to access the Amazon Business account.

Immediately upon creating their Amazon Business account.

Purchases are restricted to materials, supplies, or other items to be used in the GCPS classroom for age-appropriate educational purposes to support students’ learning, growth, or development. Such allowable educational purposes are to enhance classroom materials, address learning loss, or benefit the education of students. The site catalog currently includes over 5,000 supply items.

Unused funds in the account will expire on May 31, 2025. Balances will be returned to the district.

The account can be used as needed in the manner that best suits the needs of the GCPS classroom.

Nothing. Your account will become viewable only so you can view your purchase history.

No. The teachers will receive the $300 Amazon Business voucher to purchase GCPS classroom supplies through the curated catalog of approved classroom supplies only. The catalog contains materials, supplies, or other items to be used in the classroom for age-appropriate educational purposes that support students' learning, growth, or development. Such allowable educational purposes are to enhance classroom materials, address learning loss, or benefit the education of students. The Amazon Business voucher is valid from August 2024 through May 31, 2025.

No. GCPS will have the capability to download transaction history for all accounts for audit purposes.
