- Dacula Elementary continues to have a strong PTA that supports the work of the school through purchasing additional resources, providing parent volunteers, and organizing school events such as Trunk or Treat, Holiday Lunch, and Bingo Nights for the school community.
- Shelley Medley, our local Teacher of the Year, will represent Dacula Elementary School in the GCPS Teacher of the Year process for 2025-2026.
- Our school’s head custodian and the custodial staff were recognized for exemplary performance for the 2024-25 school year in county-level awards.
- Dacula Elementary provided many extracurricular enrichment opportunities students, including Chess Club, Chorus, Readers Rally, Student Council, Morning News, Basketball Club, Chess Club, Newspaper Club.
- The Dacula Elementary Robotics Team participated in Regional FLL Tournament in December 2024.
- Dacula Elementary supported the Dacula Cluster schools and the community in a variety of ways, including participation in Great Days of Service and the Food Fight to benefit a local food pantry.
- A Little Free Library is utilized by the community on our school campus to allow access to books for children.
- Our Play 2 Learn program served 34 students aged birth to 5 across two weekly classes.
- Dacula Elementary had two students participate in the Gwinnett County Elementary Honor Chorus.
- All students at Dacula Elementary School participate in a Computer Science and STEM special. In these classes they learn the building blocks of how computers work, laying the foundation for further coursework that they will be able to take in middle school.
