- Level Creek Elementary School (LCES) is recognized by the Governor’s Office of Student Achievement as a Highest Performing School (Platinum) and as a Greatest Gains School (Gold) under Georgia’s Single Statewide Accountability System. This places Level Creek in the top 1% of schools statewide for academic success!
- Level Creek offers Dual Language Immersion (DLI), where two classes in each grade learn Math and Science through complete Immersion in the Spanish language K-5. From the first day of kindergarten, they learn fully ½ of the day in Spanish! DLI students continue learning in both languages through high school. These DLI students will be fully bilingual and biliterate in Spanish. Additionally, they will be eligible for a college minor in Spanish upon high school graduation at North Gwinnett High School.
- All Level Creek students receive Specials instruction in Art, Music, PE, Health, STEM, and Technology. Students also have recess every day.
- Level Creek gifted students receive pull-out instruction from our gifted (FOCUS) teachers. Also, 100% of grade 1-5 teachers are gifted certified. Advanced Content Math is offered to LCES students in grades 2-5.
- Incoming kindergarten students have the opportunity to participate in a KinderDaze Summer Camp that builds excitement before their first day of school.
- Students at Level Creek have the opportunity to participate in the following clubs: Art, Chess, Chorus, Fitness, Good News, Guitar, Piano, Readers Rally, Safety Patrol, Spanish, STEM, and Technology.
- All Level Creek students access 1-1 Chromebooks. While this benefits student productivity, students are not on computers throughout the day; interpersonal interaction is key to learning!
- Teacher teams meet bi-weekly for common instructional planning to design quality learning experiences for students. Additionally, Level Creek teachers frequently observe each other to learn best practices for instruction and student well-being.
- Level Creek teacher retention is excellent, with most of our teachers staying at least 10 years or more. As a result, we can be very selective in our hiring.
- Level Creek’s Parent Teacher Association (PTA) engages and empowers the LCES community to advocate for all children by helping create quality educational experiences and a nurturing environment. The PTA ensures LCES students and teachers have access to new technology, upgraded playground equipment, improved facilities, grants for teachers, events (Spring Carnival, Heritage Night, Movie Nights, Bingo Nights, talent show, and many more!) campus beautification, classroom coordinators, All Pro Dads club, Arts in Education, Reflections, and so much more!
