- The Georgia Department of Education has recertified Mason Elementary School as a Georgia STEM School. It’s one of only three elementary schools in the district and approximately thirty in Georgia to achieve this recognition. STEM education is crucial for fostering innovation and preparing students for the future.
- The Mason Elementary School PTA has done an outstanding job raising $50,000 through its annual Lion Stomp fundraiser. These funds will undoubtedly enhance school resources and support improvements.
- The Positive Behavior Interventions and Support (PBIS) team at Mason Elementary School is excellently fostering a positive school culture. By recognizing students who demonstrate “Respect, Responsibility, and Readiness,” they instill essential values and encourage positive behavior.
- The Mason Elementary School Counseling Program has consistently demonstrated excellence by earning the RAMP (Recognized ASCA Model Program) Award for five consecutive cycles. Their commitment to removing barriers to learning and supporting students aligns perfectly with the expectations set by The American School Counselor’s Association.
- Mason Elementary School hosted a school-wide Science Fair, where students showcased their scientific projects and discoveries. It was wonderful to see so many amazing students participate in the Gwinnett County Public School's regional science fair!
- Mason Elementary School continues to expand its Play 2 Learn program, now welcoming its second cohort of approximately 40 students and their parents. This initiative provides an exciting opportunity for young learners to explore, engage, and grow. Here’s to a successful and enriching experience for all involved!
- Mason Elementary School participated in the Children's Hospital of Atlanta (CHOA) Strong 4 Life initiative. This program promotes health, wellness, and positive lifestyle choices among students.
