- Mason Elementary has been recertified as a Georgia STEM School by the Georgia Department of Education. We're proud to be one of only three elementary schools in the district and approximately thirty in Georgia to earn this prestigious recognition, underscoring our dedication to fostering innovation and preparing students for future success.
- The Mason Elementary School PTA successfully raised an outstanding $50,000 through its annual Lion Stomp fundraiser. These vital funds will directly enhance school resources and support ongoing improvements, benefiting all our students.
- Our Positive Behavior Interventions and Support (PBIS) team continues to cultivate a nurturing school environment. By consistently recognizing students who demonstrate "Respect, Responsibility, and Readiness," they instill essential values and encourage positive behavior throughout the school.
- The Mason Elementary School Counseling Program has once again earned the RAMP (Recognized ASCA Model Program) Award, marking its fifth consecutive cycle of recognition. This consistent excellence highlights their dedication to removing barriers to learning and providing vital support to students, aligning perfectly with The American School Counselor’s Association's high standards.
- Mason Elementary recently hosted a school-wide Science Fair, where students proudly showcased their scientific projects and discoveries. It was inspiring to see so many of our talented students participate, with some moving on to the Gwinnett County Public School's regional science fair! We had three category winners and the overall winner for elementary schools!
- Our Play 2 Learn program continues to grow, now welcoming its second cohort of approximately 40 students and their parents. This initiative provides an exciting opportunity for young learners to explore, engage, and grow, laying a strong foundation for future academic success.
