- Partee Elementary School was recognized as a 2023 Title I Distinguished School by the state of Georgia. Title-I Distinguished Schools are Title I schools that rank in the top 5% Schoolwide Program (SWP) and top 5% Targeted Assistance Program (TAP) schools in the state that have the highest absolute performance for the all-students group based on content mastery of the current statewide assessments.
- Teachers at Partee Elementary School extended student learning through the following student clubs: Lego Robotics Club, Drama Club, Chess Club, Garden Club, Safety Patrols, Run to Read Club, Paparazzi (Photography) Club, and Creativity Club.
- Partee Elementary School reestablished its membership with the National Beta Club Association. During April, Partee inducted fifty-fourth and fifth-grade students into Partee's Beta Club Association. Beta Club recognizes high academic achievement, rewards and nurtures worthy character, fosters leadership skills, and encourages service to others.
- Erin Wood, a Computer Science Teacher, was voted the 2024 Teacher of the Year at Partee Elementary School. She represented our school as the TOTY and was on the Teacher Advisory Committee.
- Chad Hett, Technology Support Technician, was voted the 2024 Support Staff Member of the Year.
- Title I Parent Involvement Nights included International Night, STEAM Night, ML Parent Night, and Special Education Parent Engagement Night. Workshops included information on how to support multi-language learners, prepare for academic assessments, and prepare for transitions for rising Kindergarteners.
- Partee Elementary hosted its April 2nd annual Blooming Business Festival at Impact Church. This exciting event brought together the vibrant energy of student startup businesses with the established expertise of local small businesses. It was a fantastic opportunity to Discover innovative student ventures, Get a glimpse into the future, and see the next generation of business leaders showcase their ideas.
- Support local entrepreneurs: Meet established small business owners, learn about their journeys, and discover unique products and services. Network and connect: Mingle with fellow community members, build connections, and foster collaboration.
- Over 300 parents participated in Partee's first Lunch on the Lawn event. Parents and students could collaborate with peers and build relationships with community members while enjoying lunch outside.
- Partee teachers engaged in collaborative planning and professional learning for literacy, mathematics, and technology to meet the needs of all students. Teachers meet weekly to analyze curriculum standards, create common assessments, write common lesson plans embedding Quality-Plus Teaching Strategies, and analyze student data to improve their craft of teaching.
- The Family Engagement Center, funded by Title I, partnered with parents to provide resources that could help their child improve academically.
