- Peachtree Elementary, a Primary Years Programme (PYP) school, continues its fifteenth year as a part of the International Baccalaureate (IB).
- Peachtree Elementary robotics team, the PantherBots, competed in the Discovery High School Regional competition and received the Champions Award. They also qualified for(FLL) Super Regionals.
- Extracurricular activities at Peachtree included: Band, Chorus, Art Club, Reader's Rally, Robotics, Safety Patrol, Spanish Club, Speed Stacking, and Student Council.
- Peachtree students and their families enjoyed such events as: Meet Your Teacher, Curriculum Night, Literacy Night, Movie Night, STEAM Night, Holiday Lunches, Peachtree's Got Talent, Assessment Night, Honors Days, Exhibition, and Celebrate Peachtree.
- Peachtree's Parent Center provided families with instructional support and English classes. We also continued our commitment to our younger learners with Play2Learn.
- Peachtree's Chorus performed for our parents, but also went in the community and sang at Peachtree Corner's Town Center's Holiday Glow, the Norcross Cluster Innovation Showcase, and Norcross High School's Youth Night.
- Peachtree students and staff participated in the Norcross Cluster Innovation Showcase at Lillian Webb Park in downtown Norcross where they engaged with other Norcross Cluster schools in robotics and engineering tasks.
- Peachtree students participated in the engaging High Touch High Tech Hands-On Science Program, offering them interactive experiences to deepen their scientific understanding. In support of literacy development and to help build personal libraries, students also had two opportunities to select books from the GCPS Book Mobile, reinforcing the importance of reading.
- Peachtree 2nd grade students partnered with the Theater Department at Norcross High School. Our students were able to focus on literacy with read alouds and a special trip from the Book Mobile. Students then went to Norcross High School to see the current theater production live!
- Peachtree Elementary proudly celebrated student achievement through a variety of recognition programs. Students had the opportunity to earn honors such as Principal's Honor Roll (straight A's), Honor Roll (A's and B's), Perfect Attendance, the GOAT Award for recognition for achievement on the District Assessments, and IB Learner of the Month. Our PBIS Program gave students the opportunity to earn tickets for being respectful, responsible and principled. Those that earned 100 tickets were able to be Principal for a Day!
