  • Puckett’s Mill was recognized as a Literacy Leader by Georgia State Superintendent Richard Woods.

  • Puckett’s Mill was recognized as an Operational School for PBIS (Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports).

  • Katie Lessard, 4th grade teacher, was recognized as the 2026 Gwinnett County Teacher of the Year. 

  • Students at Puckett's Mill continue to collaborate through Project Based Learning (PBL). Students work together to design, develop, and construct hands-on solutions to problems.

  • Students at Puckett’s Mill are native to 20 different countries and speak 26 languages.

  • The Play to Learn Program at Puckett’s Mill continued to support our youngest learners (birth to age 5) spanning two classes.  The classes participated in the GCPS School Science Fair and completed 2 experiments.

  • The Puckett’s Mill FLL Challenge robotics team, The Sparkbots, won for Innovation Project at the Super Regional Tournament and won 1st place for Core Values at the State Tournament.  Additionally, Puckett’s Mill had an inaugural FLL Discover robotics team for Kindergarten and 1st grade students.

  • Students engaged in clubs such as Jr. Beta, Robotics Club, Readers Rally Club, Chess, Safety Patrol, Student Council, Art Club, Spanish Lunch Bunch, Buddy Club and Yearbook Club.

  • Students participated in STEM specials where they learned coding skills using Ozobots, Makey Makeys, Spheros, BricQ Kits, and Beebots.

  • The PMES Relay for Life team raised over $6500 for cancer research.

  • The exceptional PTA at Puckett’s Mill supported the school with the following community events:
