  • Suwanee Elementary offers students the opportunity to engage in a variety of extracurricular activities, which include Chess Club, Readers Rally, Art Club, PE Club, Robotics, Odyssey of the Mind, Compassion in Action, Suwanee Podcast, Peer Leadership, Good News Club, Suwanee Code Program, Whiz Kids, Big Hit Tennis, Yo-Yo Club, All Pro Dads, Honors Chorus, and Guitar Club.
  • The Governor's Office of Student Achievement presented Suwanee Elementary School the Highest Performing Silver Award for exhibiting high academic performance under Georgia's single statewide accountability system meaning that our school's overall achievement the last three years has been in the top 5% of schools in the state.
  • Student leadership is a vital part of Suwanee Elementary's school culture. One outlet of student leadership is evident in our Be the Leader Council. BTL Council members work on projects with school leaders, serve as role models for younger students, participate in community service opportunities, and act as ambassadors for our school.
  • Family Engagement Nights continue to bring our school community together to celebrate and connect. These nights include Arts and International Night, Story Night, Jaguar Fall Festival, STEM Night, and our fun-filled Bingo family night.
  • Five Suwanee Student STEM projects advanced to the Gwinnett County School District STEM Science Fair with one of our student projects winning in the elementary regional STEM Science Fair for his ultrasonic guiding cane invention.
  • Student leaders attended the annual Gwinnett County Elementary Peer Leader Conference to participate in student leadership development and collaborate with other students across the district.
  • The Suwanee Elementary PTO continues to support our school vision. Suwanee PTO donated over $19,000 to add additional playground equipment like soccer goals, swings, and additional play equipment for all students to enjoy at recess.
