- Suwanee Elementary’s Readers Rally Team earned the title of Elementary Division Champions for the 3rd year in a row. They placed 2nd at the Gwinnett County Public Schools Elementary Finals.
- Suwanee Elementary offers students the opportunity to engage in a variety of extracurricular activities, which include Chess Club, Readers Rally, Art Club, PE Club, Robotics, Odyssey of the Mind, Peer Leadership, Good News Club, Suwanee Code Program, Whiz Kids, Big Hit Tennis, Yo-Yo Club, All Pro Dads, Honors Chorus, and Guitar Club.
- The Suwanee Elementary PTA continues to support our school vision. Suwanee PTA donated over $20,000 to our media center renovation and gave $15,000 in staff grants to support teaching and learning.
- Student leadership is a vital part of Suwanee Elementary's school culture. One outlet of student leadership is evident in our Be the Leader Council. BTL Council members work on projects with school leaders, serve as role models for younger students, participate in community service opportunities, and act as ambassadors for our school.
- Suwanee's Odyssey of Mind teams had enormous success at the state and regional competitions. Suwanee Odyssey of the Mind Problem 5 team placed 2nd in their division at the state competition and advanced to the World Finals competing at Iowa University.
- Student leaders attended the annual Gwinnett County Elementary Peer Leader Conference to participate in student leadership development and collaborate with other students across the district.
- Family Engagement Nights continue to bring our school community together to celebrate and connect. These nights include Arts and International Night, Story Night, Jaguar Fall Festival, STEM Night, and our fun-filled Bingo.
- Suwanee Jagbots won first place for Robot Design at the Lanier Regional First Lego League Competition. They then advanced to the State FLL competition and competed at the University of Georgia competition.
- Three Suwanee Student STEM projects advanced to the Gwinnett County School District STEM Science Fair.
- All Suwanee students participated in “Specials” instruction in PE, Art, Music, and STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics). Suwanee students are also given advanced math, enrichment, and intervention instruction to support each student's learning needs.
