- Walnut Grove Elementary hosted their 3rd Annual International Night with a RECORD number of participants. Students from all backgrounds shared their culture through food, dance, and displays with the community.
- Walnut Grove Elementary hosted our First Lego League Explorer and Discover Club with a total of 5 teams. These students embraced STEM throughout the school year and continue to hit milestones in science and math exploration.
- Walnut Grove Elementary hosted 14 independent clubs to promote equitable opportunities. These included clubs such as the Art Club, Brilliant Braniacs, Chess Club, Chorus, Cosmic Kids Yoga, Cultivating Minds, Curator Club, Running Club, Decoder, Girls for Impact and Robotics, and First Lego League.
- Walnut Grove Elementary partnered with Kroger for Zero Hunger Zero Waste Campaign. They collected plastic and earned our 2nd bench made from recycled material.
- Walnut Grove Elementary received recognition for having 100% participation in Cyber Security Awareness.
- Walnut Grove Elementary's Robotics Club received the Robot Design Award at the First Lego League Tournament.
- Walnut Grove is proud to support families in need each week through the Walnut Grove Care Closet.
- Walnut Grove Elementary's 5th grade students participated in a PBL project that helped them redesign and construct a new and improved courtyard. Students put together a marketing plan, designed the space, create a cost analysis, and provided the labor needed to give the students and community of Walnut Grove a relaxing space to rest and relax outdoors with special support from 5th grade teacher Jaime Lamb.
- Walnut Grove Elementary developed their first All Pro Dad group in the 2024-2025 school year and continue to strive to recognize these special men in our students' lives and the impact that they have on their education.
- Walnut Grove Elementary's STEM and Fine Arts Night continues to bring out record numbers, providing our students and opportunity to celebrate the arts, science, technology, engineering, and math.
